"A funeral," Gertrude continued. "A town's always at its best at a funeral. Always nice when something happens."

What's your teaser this week? Share it or a link in the comments so we can check it out. Happy Reading!
I am really looking forward to reading this one. :-) I love the teaser. It's funny, true more often than it probably should be, which makes it sad.
ReplyDeleteYeah reminds me how some people only see each other at weddings and funerals. Looking forward to the town having better times.
DeleteNot so nice for the 'focus' of the funeral! Great teaser. Mine is from a true story about twins, called My Secret Sister: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-15Z
ReplyDeleteI can't say for sure, but I think she is saying that she thinks funerals bring out the best in people. Time will tell. Enjoyed your prologue.
DeleteHeard this one is really good, hope you are enjoying it. :)
ReplyDeleteThe snippet is not what I expected from the cover... in a good way.
ReplyDeleteI adore that title and cover art. The quote has me very curious too!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha... love the quote! And as someone else has mentioned - the cover, though pretty, doesn't seem to have the edge suggested by the quotation... My TT is The Just City by Jo Walton: https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2015/12/29/teaser-tuesdays-29th-dec/
ReplyDeleteIt was one of the most interesting lines I'd come across so far. Your teaser looks like it's from an unusual book. Thanks for sharing.
DeleteI've seen this one around. It really looks good.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what will happen next? This book looks like a great read. Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! So far, so good.
