Why am I waiting on this book? Heather Fawcett writes well. Her characters are interesting and the plot and world building is awesome. I've read the first three books in the series and enjoyed them. I want to know who gets in trouble. And I want to know what's next for Emily, Wendell, and Ariadne.

Why am I waiting on this book? I want to see what happens with Sable. Does she know all along that these "clients" are using the plots she provides for nefarious reasons or is it a surprise to her when someone does? One reviewer said, "Sharp, cynical, and very funny, Tyler's The Murder Planner is a dark comedy about the thin red line between plotting a murder and committing one," G.M. Malliet. I'm curious as to how funny it is. I like some humor to the books I read when I can get it. And I wonder if she will get away with murder...

Why am I waiting on this book? From what I've read, this book is supposed to appeal to fans of Grady Hendrix and Stephen King. I have enjoyed reading both of those authors. I am hoping it will have a lot of humor as it is described as "darkly humorous and deeply strange." It certainly sounds weird and appealing from the synopsis. And just a little bit, it reminds me of the plot of King Sorrow by Joe Hill, which I also enjoyed.

Why am I waiting on this book? Book one, The Dark Lord's Guide to Dating (and Other War Crimes) by Tiffany Hunt has been on my TBR for a while now. The books sound like they will be funny as well as interesting. A morally gray villain that stays that way sounds like a different kind of character from what I usually run into. And I like that the female lead isn't a timid mouse.

Why am I waiting on this book? I've been following Finlay and Vero's adventures for some time now. Nick has become increasingly involved in Finlay's life. This book sounds like there might be less Vero and more Nick than in past books. I'm looking forward to finding more out about Nick other than that he seems to have the patience of a saint, is good looking, and is a good cop. I'm expecting humor and hijinks as they try to solve what happened to Stacey.

Why am I waiting on this book? It's really an absurd way for a couple to meet. The pink hazmat suit is funny. It's going to entail a sizable amount of suspension of disbelief, but it's meant to be entertainment not a how to or how not to book. I want to know if she gets away with it and just what goes wrong. And while it comes out in January 2027, I expect it will find it's way into a few beach bags come summer.

Why am I waiting on this book? l like the idea of the older protagonist. It says that it's good for fans of Killers of a Certain Age. I enjoyed the older women main characters in that book, so I think it's reasonable to think I might enjoy this story as well. It sounds like a fun read.

Why am I waiting on this book? I've read the first two books in the series. And I enjoyed them. The character, Ana, is weird and wonderful. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things pertaining to the world in which they live. Some of her knowledge is historical or obscure. She is a genius and yet very human. Din does her legwork and is her eyes and sometimes her ears. I think it's really interesting to watch how they work together to solve mysteries.

Why am I waiting on this book? For one thing, the title sounds like fun. Sounds a little like Bridget Jones meets a swashbuckling romance. And I can see where a near death experience would put someone in mind to change their lives. I am hoping for some humorous situations and good dialogue. It's a little different from what I've been reading. Sometimes different is just what you need.

Why am I waiting on this book? It's supposed to be funny. And being a mashup of the founding fathers meet technocracy gone wrong, it sounds like it has potential. And this is the perfect year for it.
