Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by The Purplebooker.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title and author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I grinned. "You really want to get into a knife fight with me? Go ahead, sugar. You just go right ahead." (location 98 on my kindle)

Ah... I've read several books in this urban fantasy series and really enjoyed the protagonist, the roller-coaster action and entertaining snark. Delighted to see another addition - thank you so much for sharing, Laura:)). My TT this week is about the production of magic on an industrial level - and what happens when someone wants to effect a hostile takeover... https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2018/08/14/teaser-tuesday-14th-august-2018-brainfluffbookblog-teasertuesday/
ReplyDeleteI love Gin and her family and friends. And your teaser makes Foundryside sound interesting. Hope you're enjoying it!
DeleteThat's a lot of self confidence. I'd like to see how well founded it is.
ReplyDeleteMine is at http://www.aliceaudrey.com/?p=16182
In her case, it's pretty well founded. She is an assassin with knives as part of her specialty. It's a well-written series though. If you like urban fantasy, you might enjoy it.
DeleteI've only read the first in this series. I enjoyed it but see I have quite a task ahead of me if I want to catch up. This week I am featuring A Study in Death by Anna Lee Huber. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteBut it will be such fun leisurely catching up. I liked your teaser and the blurb for the book. Hope you're enjoying it! Happy Reading!
DeleteI have got to start this series. Been wanting to and let things get in the way. No More. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm not into urban fantasy, but I hope you love it. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't really look like my kind of book. I hope you enjoy it. See what I'm featuring at Girl Who Reads
ReplyDeleteNice quote. I've thought about trying Estep's novels as I've been wanting to read more urban fantasy, and her books seem to stand out to me for some reason.
